Unitree’s G1 humanoid robot just graced the catwalk at Shanghai Fashion Week, proving the future of fashion is… metallic. While it may not have the wings of a Victoria’s Secret model, its runway walk is certainly more stable than some humans we’ve seen. This appearance, alongside a quadrupedal companion, marks one of the first times a humanoid has taken such an active role on the runway, trading programmed routines for high fashion.
