Researchers at Germany’s TU Darmstadt and DFKI have taught a Unitree G1 humanoid to skateboard without using its eyes. The robot autonomously executes tricks on command from a remote, relying purely on its own sense of balance without any vision markers for guidance. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater just became a real-life research project, and frankly, the robot’s form is already better than most teenagers'.
