Just when you thought 2026 couldn’t get any weirder, Unitree Robotics announces it’s hosting the “CMG 2026 Humanoid Robot Combat Competition” in partnership with China Media Group. The teaser video shows their G1 and H2 robots squaring off in a boxing ring, proving that the best way to test cutting-edge AI is to have it throw a haymaker. Apparently, the First Law of Robotics is now more of a gentle suggestion.
