AheadForm has apparently decided that talking is passé for robots, so its Elf-Xuan humanoid communicates primarily through song. The company calls it an “embodied emotional robot” designed to foster a more intuitive bond with humans using physically actuated facial micro-movements and bionic skin. We just call it the opening act for the inevitable robot uprising’s musical theater production.
