Pollen Robotics just unveiled Microduck, a tiny bipedal robot aiming to make reinforcement learning accessible for under $400. It’s open-source, packed with 15 actuators and a LiDAR sensor, and yes, it can roller-skate right out of the box. The barrier to entry for hands-on AI just got significantly shorter and a whole lot more adorable.
