Fourier is demonstrating a new data engine that allows a person to synchronously control a humanoid robot using a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) and an exoskeleton. This effectively turns the company’s GR-1 series humanoid into a physical avatar, ready to perform tasks in the real world while its operator is miles away. The future of remote work is apparently less about video calls and more about piloting a 55 kg robotic stand-in to the office.
