Move over, Tony Hawk. Researchers at Germany’s TU Darmstadt and DFKI have successfully taught a Unitree G1 humanoid to shred on a skateboard—and it’s doing it completely blind. Eschewing vision markers for pure, unadulterated proprioception, the G1 nails tricks on command by relying solely on its internal sense of balance.
