Elon Musk has announced that production of the Tesla Cybercab has officially kicked off at Giga Texas, marking the long-awaited arrival of the company’s purpose-built robotaxi. The vehicle—which famously ditches the steering wheel and pedals entirely—is the physical manifestation of Tesla’s grand vision for an autonomous ride-hailing network.
