AheadForm has evidently decided that mere conversation is a bit passé for the modern droid; its Elf-Xuan humanoid has opted instead to communicate primarily through the medium of song. Marketed as an “embodied emotional robot,” the machine is designed to forge a more intuitive bond with humans using bionic skin and physically actuated facial micro-expressions. We, however, prefer to think of it as the opening gala for the inevitable robot uprising’s first West End musical.
