At Nvidia’s GTC 2025 conference, 1X CEO Bernt Bornich introduced Neo, a charming robot butler that captivated the audience with its cute demeanour and practical abilities. While Bornich outlined the robot’s thoughtful design philosophy, Neo stole the spotlight by actively cleaning and engaging with audience members right on stage.

Weighing just 66 pounds, this mechanical assistant features a soft exterior with deliberately rounded edges, prioritising safety alongside its functionality. Bornich made it clear that early adopters will embark on a “fun journey” with Neo, which already demonstrates vacuum cleaning capabilities, though currently these are teleoperated.
